Well it was a really rainy day here today and now its chilly. A good day to do some claying. I have been working on some new bracelets, the original design is Helen Breil's, it was in the latest edition of Art Jewelery, I believe. I have also been working on genealogy, getting everything ready for our family reunion. It's my job to send out the invitations and I have done that . I printed a bunch of books for the family , some genealogy charts that take our family back to 1500.
I am having a hard time getting motivated to clay, my muse is on vacation I guess. I think I might try some face canes, not sure what I would do with them but its a start. I almost forgot I made my first transaction on e-bay today and I won the bidding! Yay! Now to see how quick it gets here.
Have a great night!

Wonderful Easter weekend!
Hi
We had a wonderful Easter with G's son's family , hope everyone else had a wonderful one too. Had a great Easter Egg hunt outside even though it was freezing! I spent time claying with our little granddaughter. She just loves to create and she is quite good with her colors.
I am still working on three ladies, I have one almost dressed , just cant figure out what to do with the others yet. I wanted to go bright but it didnt turn out that way. I want to finish these ladies before I get into making beads and jewellery. I am getting short on stock for the Artisan's Marketplace so I had better get busy.
I will be going to Morrisburg in a couple of weeks for our annual get together. I am so looking forward to claying for the weekend!!!

Here I am again
Here I am again after many months of silence. I have been so busy with many things mainly family issues. Now I am back to doing clay. Yahoo!! I have had quite a few shows and that is new for me. I'm not sure that shows are for me. I do have 2 more shows this month and then I'm finished for the year. My next show is this Sat and then the next weekend. I hope to get to play with clay and make some new and different Christmas presents. I really like to use the mokume gane technique . I would like to experiment with it and hopefully will have more time to do this. I really like the way painting on clay turns out and would like to find out which paints work with clay. Better go now and do a little research on paint.

Its kind of a miserable day here , again. Well at least it isn't snowing. I have been doing some claying today, doing more glasses and a small art doll. She's giving me quite a fight with her face though. I will just put that away now and just get some clay ready for the dress.
I'm waiting for my sister to get here so wont be doing anymore clay till tomorrow night. It will be good to spend time with her. Have to get back to my clay.

Some of My Work. Tuesday,Oct 02/07
Well I am going to try and upload some photo's of my work. Hopefully it will work but I only have dial up so it could take all day. This is a set I did using Helen Breil's technique.
The blue doll "Starlight" was made at Georgia Ferrell's Beek Lane Studio during Gera Scott Chandler's workshop. It was a very inspirational workshop. The red doll "Water Lily" I just finished. She was quite a challenge, could'nt make up her mind who she wanted to be.
I am slowly getting the hang of blogging, hopefully. I am going now to see how to add links. Wish me luck.
